For your last blog, please make a case for what grade you think you would deserve in this class if it were not Pass/Fail. Please be as specific as possible.
Ericka Guzman Eng.099 Dr.Hofhimer There are many reasons why I believe I deserve a passing grade in this class. First, there were days I didn’t come to class but, I made up by going up to the teacher and asking her what they work was for the day I was absent. On Wednesdays I would get online and check out what I missed. Even though coming to class counts for a lot I still feel that I did my work and I deserve at least a B. I know I put forth a lot of effort so I hope and feel like my grade will be well worth it. Another reason why I feel like I should get a passing grade is because I actually tried to do all my work and I put in all effort to do the best I could do. I also participated in class and asked questions if I needed the help. I feel that Grades should not just be based on academic work but, it should also be based on the hard work you put in and, show in class.
I think I should deserve at least a C in this class. Some of my papers were better then others and most of them received C’s. I think even though I did not come two days I still attempted to do most of my work online. Also I think that I tried my best and even if I do don’t deserve a C, I will still think I do deserve one.
Personally the grade I believe I would get is a b if we were using letter grades. Because I haven’t really done any extra credit And I hadn’t revise any of my papers besides one. But on the papers I did do I put effort and tried to have as little errors as possible in them.I could have done a lot better in this class. And I plan to put a lot more effort in my work in the future.
I diserve a A in this class, because i come here every day. I do the work constantly on the given assignment. To a stand point i should get a low A because i missed a day of proffesional dress day. I also do the homework that is givin to me. I also believe that i write some interesting papers, theres just a little eye candy in my writing =P.
I beleive I would deserve a high B in this class. Because when i first started I had forgotten most of my punctuation rules but after being in this class they have somewhat come back to me. Tthis class has also shown what kind of writer I am and how much depth I put into a paper. I think I deserve this grade because no matter what challenge the teacher has challenged me with, and over came the challenge that i was presented.
Pass/Fail My life depends on it! I have been in Introduction to writing for five weeks. Now that the course is just about over, it all come to one deciding factor. Whether I pass or fail. I personally think that I pass this course because I always tried to be the best student I can be. Every morning I always put myself in learning mode and had my mind open. In class, I wasn’t the best in spelling and writing but I always tried my best. From what I saw, my grades seem to be above average with 90’s/100’s. In the end my grade should be average out to be a B+.
I feel that I deserve an A for my grade in this class. Due to the fact that i haven't made anything less than a 94 on any assignment. So, with that said the numbers would definitely average out to an A. That's why I say that if this was a graded course I'm sure that I would recieve nothing less than an A.
In all honesty I think I deserve a B for my class work. I try to do my best even though I’m not the best in English. And I think that I deserve an A for my efforts. I try to make up for what I lack in smarts and try to put my all into getting it
In this class, I think that I deserve at least a B, because even though I have missed two classes, I have still worked very hard in trying to get all of my work done on time. I have enjoyed the class and believe I am a better writer because of it. I do not think that I deserve an A because I have missed two classes however; I have been in class every other day and have participated in all of the group work and activities. I would appreciate an A, but if I receive a B I will be very happy. I have worked hard on all of my assignments and hope I did well in this class.
I Malcolm Dorsey have never done well in an english class. The small work is easy. I will admit I am lazy and I put things off for a long time. I also Feel like the 5 hour class gives you enough time to finish all papers and thats exactly what I need time and I can make the best paper I can. I feel like I have completed everytask given. Thats why I feel like I should pass.
I’m sure no one in this class who does not want to get an A for a grade. I myself, I want an A, but, the question is do I deserve it? I hope, because I come to class every meeting, do all the home works although some of them are late but I’m able to submit it, I don’t miss any quiz and I do all the necessary exercises that will help me get an extra points, and the most important is I give it all my best. So far I believe that I will have a chance of getting a lower A depending on what score will I get from my 4th paper and final exam.
